"Little Richard" is coming!

So, I finally got the pictures to my baby shower up :] I had such a good time. Jamison got a lot of awesome stuff. We are moving this weekend into a slightly larger house. Tomorrow is nursery day! We will start setting it up and my little man will finally have a room. I cannot wait to meet the little guy :] I’m 34 weeks with only 6 more to go!

So. Here I am at week 27. He is moving around a lot more and I can feel him pushing a lot more. It’s the coolest feeling ever. We finally got the room cleared out for a nursery!! We are going to get it set up when my sister is here in 2 1/2 weeks I’m so excited!! As of tomorrow I will officially be in my 3rd trimester! I have another sonogram next week and also my glucose test. Excited about the sonogram not so excited about the glucose test :) as we get closer to the due date I’m more and more excited to meet my little man!

Today we celebrate week 24. I am now 6 months into my pregnancy. Only 4 more to go!!! Sorry I have been slacking on the updating. We have had a lot going on and it’s been really difficult. Today I am thankful for everything I have been blessed with in my life so far. I can’t wait to have a little baby to share this life with. Jamison has been getting more and more active. I’m pretty sure he is practicing karate in there :) I still haven’t had any weird cravings. Sorry, no pickles dipped in peanut butter. Everything is going well, the doctor says he is developing properly and we should have a very healthy baby boy. I’m getting really excited about the shower. We are finalizing all the decorations and food this weekend and I have an amazing group of ladies helping to make sure it’s perfect. I finally finished my registry with the help from a couple friends. Well it’s time to go to grandmas for some food. I’m hungry and I know Jamison is too :)

20 weeks!! Halfway there!

So today marks week 20 of my pregnancy. I am halfway through and so excited. According to my Iphone App, Jamison is about the length of a banana (10 inches) and weighs about 10 1/2 ounces. My belly is rapidly growing, we will probably take some more pictures this weekend. He started kicking about a week ago, but I’m the only one who can feel it. I think that frustrates Greg a little bit. I started getting all my ideas for the baby shower and started registering, it was a blast! I let greg stay home for that one and took Heather instead. We had so much fun! Hopefully I will have more pictures to post this weekend because apparently I don’t post enough (Theresa).

So here is the moment everyone has been waiting for. IT’S A BOY!!! I am now coming up on 19 weeks and Jamison Scott made his presence known. He definitely was not shy and wanted everyone to know he was a boy. The second she started the sonogram he had his legs spread. It was the best moment on my life to date. Seeing him in there and not having to call him “it” anymore is the best thing ever.

Dr. Appointment.

So, yesterdays Doctor appointment went well, I had blood drawn and a flu shot and stayed conscious the whole time. It was very exciting. We also heard the heartbeat, it’s still fluttering strong at 160 beats per minute.The 18th can’t come soon enough three couples in our prenatal group already know what they are having and it’s so exciting. I already have nursery’s picked out for either sex so I’m super exited to narrow that down. We met a couple in our group that lives about 5 minutes from us and have a lot in common with us. They are having a little girl and are due about 2 weeks before me. This whole experience has been so incredible so far and I’m so excited to bring our little baby into the world. Hopefully I will feel better soon so I can enjoy this time. I still get sick about one or two times a week and it’s miserable. That’s all i have for now. I will update more when there is something to be said.

All right here it is. This is my 15 week belly. It’s slowly growing. I haven’t been sick in a week, which is super exciting. I even ate Moe’s over the weekend! At this point the baby was about 4 inches long and weighed about 2 1/2 ounces. Apparently that’s about the size of an apple. I’m still not able to figure out why they continuously want to compare my baby to a fruit. I just imagine an apple inside my belly now, not a baby.

Tomorrow will mark week 16 and will also start a growth spurt. In three weeks we will finally be able to call the baby he or she! I can’t wait to find out what is it so I can start shopping and registering! Get ready for my shower I’ve heard it’s going to be awesome!

14 Weeks!

Today I’m officially 14 weeks. Apparently the baby is about the size of a lemon and weighs 1 1/2 ounces. I’m finally getting over the morning sickness and can eat meat at lunch time. It is very exciting!

I promise I will try to start updating more. My last Dr. appointment was very interesting. The baby would not cooperate at all and was facing its back to us the whole time so the pictures are not very good.

We also learned that I have to lie down while they take blood. I passed out for a couple minutes and scared everyone, especially greg. I’m pretty sure he almost passed out too.

We have our next sonogram scheduled for October 18th and that is when we find out the gender!!!

We are taking some photos this weekend to get a shot of my belly so I will post those as soon as we get them done.

VIP

So my doctor’s office does this really cool thing called Very Important Pregnancy. It is a group meeting once a month after your regular exam where you get to spend time with other people who are due around the same time as you. We had our first meeting yesterday, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. It was nice talking to other women who are at the same point in their pregnancy as I am and getting to know them and what they are finding works for them as far as eating is concerned. I haven’t ventured too far past mac and cheese and still cannot keep meet down so eating has not been a very pleasant experience for me. I thought it was getting better then yesterday it started over again. I haven’t kept anything down since my lunch yesterday which was probably an english muffin. I am now sipping on some pedialyte hoping it stays down so I can at least stay hydrated.

We had our first sonogram on August 23, 2011. I was 10 weeks, 5 Days. They have set my due date at March 15, 2012. This was probably the most exciting day so far. Other than the “morning” sickness (I say that because I get a lot more than just in the morning) this made the pregnancy very real. The baby was very active for this one and was moving a lot, waving, and kicking like crazy. It was the coolest thing i’ve ever seen.
